Cationic polymerization of styrene using iron-containing ionic liquid catalysts in an aqueous dispersed medium [PDF]

open access: yesPolímeros
This work aims to study the cationic miniemulsion polymerization of styrene catalyzed by iron-containing imidazolium-based ionic liquids. The polystyrenes had very high number-average molar mass around 1300 kg mol-1 at 85 °C, molar-mass dispersity close ...

Data on electronic structures for the study of ligand effects on the zirconocene-mediated trimethylene carbonate polymerization

open access: yesData in Brief, 2018
The data presented in this paper are related to the research article entitled “Effect of ligand structure in the trimethylene carbonate polymerization by cationic zirconocene catalysts: A “naked model” DFT study” (Jitonnom and Meelua, 2017) [1].

Spiroorthocarbonate as shrinkage resistance for UV-curing 3D printing: UV-curing kinetics, mechanical properties and volume shrinkage

open access: yeseXPRESS Polymer Letters, 2021
Spiroorthocarbonates (SOCs) exhibit good shrinkage resistance with ring-opening polymerization initiated by a cationic photoinitiator, with potential application in reducing the volume shrinkage by C=C double bond polymerization on three-dimensional (3D)

Assembling structurally customizable synthetic carriers of siRNA through thermodynamically self-regulated process

open access: yesAsian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 2020
This study demonstrates that our previously reported polywraplex, a synthetic siRNA carrier consisting of a uni-molecular polyplex core of customizable size and a self-assembled tri-block copolymer envelop, may be constructed using dendrimers as the ...

Responsive glyco-poly(2-oxazoline)s: synthesis, cloud point tuning, and lectin binding [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
A new sugar-substituted 2-oxazoline monomer was prepared using the copper-catalyzed alkyne-azide cycloaddition (CuAAC) reaction. Its copolymerization with 2-ethyl-2-oxazoline as well as 2-(dec-9-enyl)-2-oxazoline, yielding well-defined copolymers with ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
