[CCT chaperonins and their cochaperons].

Chaperonins are large oligomers consisting of two superimposed rings, each enclosing a cavity used for the folding of other proteins. They have been divided into two groups. Chaperonins of type I were identified in mitochondria and chloroplasts (Hsp60) or bacterial cytosol (GroEL) as well.

Effect of periodontal treatment on adipokines in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus: A systematic review

Abstract Background Periodontal disease (PD) is associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), while periodontal treatment (PT) improves glycemic control in T2DM patients. Leptin and adiponectin belong to the adipokines family and have almost antagonistic functions in inflammatory processes and insulin sensitivity modulation.

Switchable Privacy Displays: Applications, Optical Measurements, and Evaluation With Focus on Automotive
