CD30/CD30 Ligand and CD40/CD40 Ligand in Malignant Lymphoid Disorders
CD30 and CD40 are members of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor family. These two receptors have pleiotropic biologic functions including induction of apoptosis and enhancing cell survival. This review will discuss the pattern of expression of these receptors in malignant lymphoid disorders and their prospective ligands.

CD30 supports lung inflammation [PDF]
The physiological functions of CD30 have not been fully elucidated. Here we show that in CD30-deficient mice (CD30(-/-)), lung inflammation is significantly diminished in the ovalbumin (OVA) model of airway hyperreactivity. In CD30(-/-) mice, the recruitment of eosinophils into the airways after OVA-aerosol challenge of OVA-primed mice was ...

The Opposite Functions of CD30 Ligand Isoforms
TNFSF8/CD30 ligand is a TNF superfamily member expressed on several major immune cell types, including activated monocytes, B, and T cells. The signaling of CD30 ligand through its cognate CD30 receptor has been shown to have effects on cell ...

Role of ADAM10 as a CD30 Sheddase in Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma
Cancer cells generally recruit and influence non-malignant immune cells to support the tumor growth. Classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) is a good example because the affected lymphoid tissue contains only a few malignant Hodgkin and Reed-Sternberg (H-RS ...

Recent Advances in Photocatalyst‐Driven Protein Labeling and Proximity Mapping
Photocatalyst‐driven protein labeling and proximity mapping have rapidly advanced as powerful strategies for spatiotemporal control in complex biological environments. This review integrates recent developments across single‐electron transfer and energy transfer‐based mechanisms and highlights how catalyst design, reactive intermediates, and diffusion ...

Background It is important to confirm CD30 expression in T-cell lymphoma cases, but immunohistochemical staining for CD30 is not commonly performed and no comparison has been done between the results of flow cytometry (FCM) and immunohistochemical ...

Lymphoma is a group of blood cancers that can appear in lymph nodes, blood, bone marrow, spleen, liver, or the central nervous system, which makes drug delivery and disease monitoring difficult. This review summarizes how nanomedicine technologies may improve targeted treatment and imaging, while carefully separating approved or guideline‐supported ...

A Spotlight on Yolk‐sac Tumors: Molecular Pathology, Current Diagnostics, and Novel Therapeutics
ABSTRACT Background Yolk‐sac tumors are an aggressive subtype of testicular cancer that significantly contribute to disease progression and therapy resistance, especially in adults. While testicular cancer generally has high cure rates with cisplatin‐based treatment, adult yolk‐sac tumors often appear as components of mixed tumors with poor response to

The CD30/CD30L signalling system has been implicated in the pathogenesis of several autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. In rheumatoid arthritis (RA), soluble CD30 (sCD30) levels reflect the recruitment of CD30+ T cells into the inflamed joints and ...
