Identification of the Ki-1 antigen (CD30) as a novel therapeutic target in systemic mastocytosis. [PDF]
Key Points In a majority of patients with advanced SM, neoplastic MCs express the target receptor CD30. The CD30-targeting drug brentuximab-vedotin blocks growth and survival in CD30+ neoplastic MCs which favors drug development in advanced SM.

Expression of Ki-1 antigen (CD30) in mesenchymal tumors [PDF]
Expression of CD30(Ki-1) antigen has long been considered to be restricted to activated lymphocytes and related tumors. However, expression of this antigen has also been detected in embryonal carcinomas, in nonembryonal carcinomas, in malignant melanomas, and even in some myeloid cell lines and macrophages at late stages of differentiation.

Clinicopathological assessment of cancer/testis antigens NY‑ESO‑1 and MAGE‑A4 in osteosarcoma
The cancer/testis antigens (CTAs), New York esophageal squamous cell carcinoma-1 (NY-ESO-1) and melanoma antigen gene (MAGE)-A4 are normally restricted to male germ cells but are aberrantly expressed in several cancers.

Data on clinical significance of GAS2 in colorectal cancer cells
The growth arrest-specific 2 (GAS2) was cloned and found to be upregulated in the feces of recurrent CRC patients. This overexpressed GAS2 induced different patterns of gene expressions in CRC cells. Briefly, one cell proliferation marker, Ki-67 antigen (

Diagnostic and Prognostic Significance of Ki-67 Immunohistochemical Expression in Surface Epithelial Ovarian Carcinoma [PDF]
Introduction: The Surface Epithelial Ovarian Carcinoma (SEOC) at the moment of diagnosis, the disease is extended beyond the structures of the pelvis. Ki-67 is one of the prognostic marker which determines the growth fraction of a tumour and its over

Measurement of Ki-67 antigen in 159 pituitary adenomas using the MIB-1 monoclonal antibody
Pituitary adenomas sometimes show rapid growth and recurrence, and about one third invade the structures surrounding the sella turcica. In an attempt to determine aggressive behavior at an early stage, we used the MIB-1 antibody to identify the Ki-67 ...
