Self‐Accelerating Bimetallic Peroxide Nanozymes for Cascade‐Amplified Pyroptosis‐Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Acidic tumor microenvironment‐responsive CuZnONPs enable triple‐combination therapy via self‐supplying H2O2, cascade nanozyme activities for ROS burst, and Zn2+‐activated pyroptosis, synergizing catalytic therapy with immunotherapy to convert cold tumors into hot ones.

CD44‐Targeting Hydroxyapatite Nanoparticles (HAP) Induce Mitochondrial Dysfunction‐Driven PANoptosis and Immunogenic Cell Death (ICD) via Ca Overload in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains therapeutically challenging due to high metastasis, recurrence, and immunotherapy resistance driven by tumor microenvironment‐mediated immune evasion. Immunogenic cell death (ICD) offers a promising strategy to reshape the immune microenvironment, yet existing ICD inducers suffer from poor targeting efficiency ...

A Catalytic Osmium Redox Couple Collapses Cancer Redox Balance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A stable Os(III)/Os(IV) redox couple is developed to disrupt the tumor cell redox balance by concurrently catalyzing ROS generation and GSH depletion. Osmium‐treated cells exhibit multiple cell death pathways, including apoptosis, ferroptosis, and immunogenic cell death.

Relationships Between Phenotype and Function of Blood CD4+ T-Cells and Ascending Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm: an Experimental Study

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery
Introduction: Non-familial ascending thoracic aorta dilation and aneurysms (TAAs) are silent diseases in elderly patients. Histopathology revealed that functionally polarized infiltrating CD4+ T-cells play a key role in aortic wall weakening. Objective:

Characterisation of Mycobacterium tuberculosis specific T cell immunity with HLA class II tetramers

open access: yes, 2014
Includes bibliographical references.Tuberculosis (TB) remains a global health burden, with an estimated 1.3 million people dying from the disease in 2012. Protective immunity against TB is thought to depend on specific T cells.

Engineered Carbon Dots from a Traditional Herb Pair Orchestrate Concurrent Antioxidant and AP‐1‐Mediated Inflammation to Attenuate Renal Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study integrates two complementary traditional Chinese medicine components as precursors to synthesize bioactive AM‐AS@CDs. Compared with single‐component CDs, these dual‐component CDs exhibit enhanced antioxidant capacity and superior renoprotective effects.
