The interatomic potentials and dipole moments of the excited 1u state of Cd–Cd and 31 state of Cd–Ar

Chemical Physics, 2000
Abstract The molecular band at Δν =770 cm −1 and also the satellite at Δν =73 cm −1 appearing on the blue wing of the intercombination Cd (326.1 nm) line broadened, respectively, by Cd and Ar pressures have been analyzed using the unified Frank–Condon model developed by Szudy and Baylis.

PECAM-1 (CD 31) mediates transendothelial leukocyte migration in experimental colitis

American Journal of Physiology-Gastrointestinal and Liver Physiology, 2007
Transendothelial migration of circulating leukocytes into the colonic wall is a key step in the development of the inflammatory infiltrate in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The platelet-endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1 PECAM-1 (CD31) is expressed in the tight junction area of endothelial cells, where it is supposed to support the transmigration ...

The Adhesion Receptor CD-31 Can Be Primed to Rapidly Adjust the Neutrophil Cytoskeleton

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 2002
The adhesion receptor CD-31 is expressed on neutrophils and endothelial cells and participates in transendothelial migration of neutrophils. Although necessary, information on CD-31-induced signaling and its influence on the shape-forming actin network is scarce.

ChemInform Abstract: Photochemistry of Colloidal Semiconductors. Part 31. Preparation and Photolysis of CdS Sols in Organic Solvents.

ChemInform, 1989
AbstractCdS colloids are prepared by addition of H2S to a solution containing 10‐4‐10‐3 M Cd(ClO4)2 and an alkanethiol (C6H13SH, C12H25SH, C18H37SH) in THF.

Basic Science for the Clinician 31

JCR: Journal of Clinical Rheumatology, 2004
Molecular biologic technology has allowed us to study some of the many proteins expressed by leukocytes at different stages of differentiation, activation, and proliferation. Being able to purify cells with 1 or more surface molecules (eg, by FACS or lysis) with monoclonal antibodies and complement and identifying changes as cells are stimulated or ...
