Experimentally Induced Hyperlipidemia and Associated Atherosclerosis in the Aorta and Vascular Expression of CD 31, CD44, Beta-catenin and E Cadherin in Wistar Male Rats

Indian Journal of Animal Research, 2021
Background: Hyperlipidemia is the disorder of lipid metabolism, characterized by elevated serum total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and very low-density lipoproteins cholesterol (VLDL-C) and decreased high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C).

Immunohistochemical Studies on Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor and Platelet Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule-1/CD-31 in Islet Transplantation

Pancreas, 2000
Neovascularization may be necessary for better and longer function of transplanted islets. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is known to be one of the most important factors of angiogenesis. Recently, VEGF was reported to be expressed in islets of normal pancreas.

Immunohistochemical Evaluation of Pecam-1 (CD-31) and Icam-3 (CD-50) in Preeclamptic Placenta

2009
Objective: Preeclampsia has been related to abnormalities in cellular adhesion molecule expression. Preeclampsia complicates 3-5% of all pregnancies in the world. Our primary objective was to compare the expression of two intercellular adhesion molecules, platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule (PECAM-1/CD-31) and intercellular adhesion molecule-3 (

Bis(Tetramethylselenophosphoramidoyl) Methylamine Complexes of Cd(Ii) and Zn(Ii): Synthesis and Multinuclear (31P, 77Se, and 113Cd) Nmr Characterization in Solution

Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 2012
Abstract Five new complexes ZnL2(ClO4)2 (1), CdL2(ClO4)2 (2), CdL2(BF4)2 (3), CdLCl2 (4), and CdL(NO3)2 (5) [L = ((Me2N)2PSe)2NMe] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared (IR) and multinuclear (31P, 77Se, and 113Cd), and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The 31P and 77Se NMR data showed that the title ligand

[Expression and clinical significance of VEGF-C mRNA and CD 31 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma].

Shi yan sheng wu xue bao, 2004
To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor-C (VEGF-C) mRNA and CD 31 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and its promotion of lymphatic metastasis. The expression of VEGF-C mRNA was examined in 43 ESCC by in situ hybridization.

Effect of distortions in the phosphate backbone conformation of six related octanucleotide duplexes on CD and phosphorus-31 NMR spectra

Biochemistry, 1993
We examined the structural properties of six octanucleotide duplexes d(TGACGTCA), d(ACTGCAGT), d(CTTCGAAG), d(CATCGATG), d(GTACGTAC), and d(CATGCATG). Circular dichroism (CD) and 2D 31P and 1H NMR spectroscopies were used in conjunction. Although of the B-DNA type, it was possible to arrange CD spectra into two families, A and B.

Conformational changes in a single- and double-stranded nonanucleotide upon complexation of a monofunctional platinum compound as studied by proton NMR, phosphorus-31 NMR and CD methods.

Inorganic Chemistry, 1990
The structure of the nonanucleotide d(T-C-T-C-G-T-C-T-C), after binding of a monofunctional platinum compound (PtCl(NH{sub 3}){sub 3})Cl to the N7 of the central guanine residue, is described. The observed conformational changes are limited to the central residues; the intramolecular interactions between dC(4) and dG(5) are reduced, and the sugar ...

Thermally Activated Sensitized Fluorescence Enables Efficient Carbon Quantum Dot‐Based Electroluminescent LEDs with Current Efficiency of 31 cd A −1

Angewandte Chemie International Edition
Abstract Carbon quantum dots (CQDs) are gaining increasing attention as eco‐friendly alternatives to conventional heavy‐metal‐based QDs for full‐color displays and solid‐state lighting. However, the performance of CQD‐based light‐emitting diodes (CQD‐LEDs) remains significantly lower than their heavy‐metal ...
