Comparative efficacy of two microdoses of a potentized homoeopathic drug, Cadmium Sulphoricum, in reducing genotoxic effects produced by cadmium chloride in mice: a time course study

open access: yesBMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine, 2001
Background Cadmium poisoning in the environment has assumed an alarming problem in recent years. Effective antimutagenic agents which can reverse or combat cadmium induced genotoxicity in mice have not yet been reported.

Automated Plasmon‐Selective Laser Writing in Mesoporous Thin Films Through Decoupling of the Initiator Absorption and Plasmon Wavelength

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 6, Issue 3, March 2026.
Plasmon‐selective direct laser writing is demonstrated in mesoporous silica thin films containing plasmonic Au nanospheres. The key to attain plasmon‐selective polymerization is decoupling the plasmon wavelength from the absorption profile of coreactants, hence suppressing mutual radiative interactions.

Protective efficacy of Helianthemum lippii–derived silver nanoparticles against CdCl₂-induced oxidative, endocrine, and reproductive toxicity

open access: yesInternational Journal of Food Properties
Cadmium chloride (CdCl₂), a widespread environmental contaminant, poses serious risks to food safety and human health by disrupting endocrine balance, impairing hematological parameters, and damaging reproductive organs.

Carnosic Acid Attenuates Cadmium Induced Nephrotoxicity by Inhibiting Oxidative Stress, Promoting Nrf2/HO-1 Signalling and Impairing TGF-β1/Smad/Collagen IV Signalling

open access: yesMolecules, 2019
Cadmium (Cd) imparts nephrotoxicity via triggering oxidative stress and pathological signal transductions in renal cells. The present study was performed to explore the protective mechanism of carnosic acid (CA), a naturally occurring antioxidant ...

Effects of cadmium chloride on some endocrine glands (thyroid and adrenal) in male rats (Rattus norvegicus) [PDF]

open access: yesIraqi Journal of Veterinary Sciences, 2019
This study was designed to evaluate the cytotoxic effects of cadmium chloride (CdCl2) on thyroid and adrenal gland of male rats (Rattus norvegicus). Thirty six male rats were used and randomly into three groups each of 12 rats, the first group(G1) kept ...

MnBr2${\rm MnBr}_2$ on the Graphene on Ir(110) Substrate: Growth, Structure, and Super‐Moiré

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 11, 20 February 2026.
The study realizes single‐layer MnBr2${\rm MnBr}_2$ via molecular beam epitaxy on graphene on Ir(110), unveiling a unique super‐moiré (“moiré of moirés”) formed by lattices of different symmetries. Remarkably, this super‐moiré is driven by a virtual interaction between non‐contacting layers.

High Voltage Vapor‐Deposited CsPbBr3 Inorganic Perovskite Solar Cells by CdCl2 Passivation

open access: yesSolar RRL, Volume 10, Issue 1, January 2026.
Interfacial modification of CsPbBr3 using thermally evaporated CdCl2 layers is presented. Vapor‐deposited defect passivation strategy is well aligned with industrial processing. CdCl2 treatment of CsPbBr3 not only provides a large grain size but also helps in bandgap tuning.

Generic CDCL -- A Formalization of Modern Propositional Satisfiability Solvers [PDF]

open access: yesEPiC Series in Computing, 2018
Modern propositional satisfiability (or SAT) solvers are very powerful due to recent developments on the underlying data structures, the used heuristics to guide the search, the deduction techniques to infer knowledge, and the formula simplification techniques that are used during pre- and inprocessing.

Tailoring ZnO–CdO Nanocomposite Photoanodes Mimicking Neural Web Like Structure for Optimized Solar Water Splitting

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 6, Issue 11, November 2025.
This is a first report on employing simple, robust and cost effective successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction approach in synthesizing ZnO–CdO nanocomposite for photoelectrochemical water splitting. A unique neural web‐like morphology is recorded in the current work.

Investigations into the characterization, degradation, and applications of biodegradable polymers by mass spectrometry

open access: yesMass Spectrometry Reviews, Volume 44, Issue 6, Page 947-988, November/December 2025.
Abstract Biodegradable polymers have been getting more and more attention because of their contribution to the plastic pollution environmental issues and to move towards a circular economy. Nevertheless, biodegradable materials still exhibit various disadvantages restraining a widespread use in the market.
