B-cell Precursor Cell Lines

2002
Many BCP cell lines have been described, but most are used only for a specific purpose, and few have been adequately characterized. Cell lines provide a useful laboratory tool, but scientists should be aware of their limitations and care should be taken in extrapolating data to in vivo situations.

Cells and Cell Lines

1990
The establishment of successful tissue cultures requires several important pieces of equipment: a flow hood, a temperature-, humidity-, and CO2-controlled incubator, an inverted microscope, a 4°C refrigerator, a −20°C freezer, and a liquid-nitrogen freezer for long-term cell storage.
