Separation and quantification of cellulases and hemicellulases by capillary electrophoresis
Analytical Biochemistry, 2003Cellulases and hemicellulases are two classes of enzymes produced by filamentous fungi and secreted into the cultivation medium. Both classes of enzymes consist of a subset of classes of which the fungi produce several enzymes with varying molecular mass and pI but similar enzymatic activities.

Industrial Applications of Cellulases and Hemicellulases
2018Cellulase and hemicellulase products have been developed and widely used in many industrial settings over the last several decades. These applications include textile, animal feed, bakery, brewing, pulp and paper, and biofuel sectors. This chapter illustrates the mechanisms and examples of these applications.

Saccharification of agro-waste materials by fungal cellulases and hemicellulases
Bioresource Technology, 1995Saccharification of agro-wastes by cellulases and hemicellulases from two fungal isolates, Sporotrichum pruinosum and Arthrographis sp., was investigated. The highest degree of hydrolysis (15·1% for Sporotrichum pruinosum and 7.5% for Arthrographis sp.) was observed with melon seed shells.

Production of cellulases and hemicellulases by Aspergillus niger KK2 from lignocellulosic biomass
Bioresource Technology, 2004To investigate the production of cellulases and hemicellulases from Aspergillus niger KK2, solid state fermentation (SSF) was performed by using different ratios of rice straw and wheat bran. When A. niger KK2 was grown on rice straw alone as a solid support in SSF, the maximum FPase activity was 19.5 IU g(-1) in 4 days.

Treatment of recycled kraft pulps with Trichoderma reesei hemicellulases and cellulases
Journal of Biotechnology, 2000Effects of recycling ECF-bleached softwood kraft pulp on pulp properties were evaluated in the laboratory. The tensile strength, fiber flexibility and WRV lost during drying of the pulp were recovered by refining between the cycles which, however, resulted in deteriorated drainage properties.
