Relationship Between Testosterone and Movement Patterns in Male Asian Black Bear (Ursus thibetanus)
Comparisons of mean fecal testosterone metabolite concentrations (mFTM) and behavioral variables between the breeding (May–July) and post‐breeding (August–November) seasons. The asterisks indicate significant differences. ABSTRACT In male mammals, reproduction and reproductive behavior are strongly influenced by testosterone. While some species exhibit

ABSTRACT Kalavan‐2, a high‐altitude (∼1640 m a.s.l.) open‐air site in Armenia, preserves stratified Middle Paleolithic occupations with a rich small‐vertebrate record. Luminescence dating has placed site formation between ~60 and 45 ka, but without independent chronological control of the microvertebrate accumulation.

Age and spatial behavior determine survival of male elk during the hunting season
We sought to investigate factors that influenced survival of male elk in Montana, USA, during the hunting season using 4 years of movement, age, and survival data. Our findings demonstrate that use of security attributes are the result of behavioral and demographic mechanisms with some age‐based nuances.

Survival of reintroduced fishers among differing sympatric predator and prey assemblages
We examined how predator and prey occurrence and relative abundance influenced survival rates in reintroduced fisher (Pekania pennanti) populations in the southern and northern Cascade Mountains, Washington, USA, and found lower fisher survival in the north than in the south.
