Building collaboration? Co-location and “dis-location” in a railway control post
This paper studies the design of co-located spaces and how organizational actors experience such spaces. The literature on co-location is ambiguous about how reduced physical distance increases collaboration.

Constant invariant solutions of the Poincare center-focus problem
We consider the classical Poincare problem $$ frac{dx}{dt}=-y-p(x,y),quad frac{dy}{dt}=x+q(x,y) $$ where $p,q$ are homogeneous polynomials of degree $n geq 2$.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Remarks on the center and focus problem for planar systems
The center and focus problem is one of the main topics of the qualitative theory of ordinary differential equations.Systems in higher dimensional spaces can be reduced to systems in the plane with the help of the center manifold theorem. Therefore,it is ...

In this paper the quartic differential systems with a center-focus critical point and non-degenerate infinity are examined. We show that in this family the maximal multiplicity of an affine invariant straight line is six. Modulo the affine transformation

Efficient Bounding Schemes for the Two-Center Hybrid Flow Shop Scheduling Problem with Removal Times
We focus on the two-center hybrid flow shop scheduling problem with identical parallel machines and removal times. The job removal time is the required duration to remove it from a machine after its processing.

User-fair designing emergency service systems
The usual approach to emergency system design consists in deploying a given number of service centers to minimize the disutility perceived by an average user, what is called “min-sum” or “system approach”.

THE CENTER-FOCUS PROBLEM AND BIFURCATION OF LIMIT CYCLES IN A CLASS OF 7TH-DEGREE POLYNOMIAL SYSTEMS
Summary: By computing singular point values, the center conditions are established for a class of 7th-degree planar polynomial systems with 15 parameters. It is proved that such systems can have 13 small-amplitude limit cycles in the neighborhood of the origin.

Dynamics of vortex dipoles in anisotropic Bose-Einstein condensates
We study the motion of a vortex dipole in a Bose-Einstein condensate confined to an anisotropic trap. We focus on a system of ordinary differential equations describing the vortices' motion, which is in turn a reduced model of the Gross-Pitaevskii ...

This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...
