Advanced Materials for Biologics Delivery to Brain Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Material innovation is central to unlocking the therapeutic potential of biologics against many central nervous system diseases, including brain cancer. By engineering carriers with controlled transport, targeting, and release properties, advanced materials can overcome the blood–brain barrier and tumor microenvironment, improving the delivery of ...

Gonadotropin‐Inhibitory Hormone (GnIH) and Its Receptor GPR147 Mediates Acute Stress‐Induced Activation of the Locus Coeruleus‐SAM Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Gonadotropin‐inhibitory hormone (GnIH, also known as RFamide‐related peptide‐3, RFRP‐3) is a hypothalamic neuropeptide that regulates vertebrate reproduction via its receptor GPR147. Although GnIH is known to mediate stress‐induced reproductive suppression, its role in broader stress responses remains unclear.

Nanomaterials for Allergy Diagnosis and Treatment: Advances, Opportunities and Translational Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanomaterials offer dual applications in allergy management. For diagnosis, nanomaterials enhance analytical sensitivity and improve detection in specific IgE and functional assays such as the basophil activation test (BAT). For allergen‐specific immunotherapy, nanomaterials enable allergen masking and controlled release, and effectively modulate the ...

An Aggregation‐Induced Polymerization Poly(Disulfide)‐Drug Nanoplatform for Autoimmune Uveitis Therapy via Inhibiting the cGAS‐STING Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cationic poly(disulfide)‐drug nanoplatform (LA/DexP) was developed to treat experimental autoimmune uveitis (EAU). With potent blood‐retinal barrier penetrability, LA/DexP releases DSP in response to high ROS and scavenges cfDNA to inhibit the cGAS‐STING signaling pathway.
