Espaces méditerranéens, vers une convergence politique et économique ? [PDF]
Do political and commercial links between EUROMED member states tend to increase during the last decade? Tools from ‘Social Network Analysis' allow focusing on actors' relational structures and highlight the persistence of a centre-periphery organization

A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Centre?periphery model explaining the regional development of the informational and transitional society [PDF]
This paper analyses regional development and uses centre-periphery models (CPM) of Friedmann, Gibbs and Hautamäki as a base for theoretical discussion. In general, these centre-periphery models foresee stabilisation and de-concentration of population and

Temporal and spatial instability in neutral and adaptive (MHC) genetic variation in marginal salmon populations [PDF]
The role of marginal populations for the long-term maintenance of species’ genetic diversity and evolutionary potential is particularly timely in view of the range shifts caused by climate change.

Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

Technology, structural change and BOP constrained growth: a structuralist toolbox [PDF]
The Latin American Structuralism (LAS) is a significant part of the heterodox tradition in the theory of long run growth, with a focus on the problems of developing economies which started their industrialization process when other regions had already ...

Integral assessment of urban conglomeration versus centre-periphery maglev rail systems under market imperfections [PDF]
New transport infrastructure has a myriad of short and long run effects. The effects on population and economic activity are most difficult to estimate. This paper introduces three different models to estimate the impacts of new infrastructure on labour ...

Mapping early modern centres and peripheries: 'marginality' in an east-central European context [PDF]
This article critically appraises the heuristic plausibility and usefulness of centre-periphery models for explaining processes of cultural transformation in early modern Europe. The confessional history of 17th and 18th c Hungary is explored with a view

Genetic testing in epithelial ovarian cancer includes both germline and tumor‐testing. This approach often duplicates resources. The current prospective study assessed the feasibility of tumor‐first multigene testing by comparing tumor tissue with germline testing of peripheral blood using an 18‐gene NGS panel in 106 patients.
