Reaction of carboxylic acids on CeO2(111) and CeO2(100)

open access: yesCatalysis Today, 1996
The reactions of HCOOH and CH3COOH on CeO2(111) and CeO2(100) were studied using temperature programmed desorption (TPD) and high resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS). The carboxylic acids were found to dissociate on both surfaces to form carboxylates.

Photoluminescence emission behavior on the reduced band gap of Fe doping in CeO2-SiO2 nanocomposite and photophysical properties

open access: yesJournal of Saudi Chemical Society, 2019
Fe/CeO2-SiO2 nanocomposite was synthesized via hydrothermal method. Bond length of nanocomposite was determined through FTIR analysis, while Raman analysis showed lattice relaxation of CeO2 phase in Fe/CeO2-SiO2. TEM, XRD and DLS-PSA revealed an increase
