ABSTRACT Stevens–Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) are severe and life‐threatening mucocutaneous disorders, primarily triggered by medications. Despite the frequent need for antipyretic and analgesic therapy, the impact of nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and acetaminophen on clinical outcomes in patients with SJS/

Our study reveals that cave‐dwelling marine sponges host bacteria with antimicrobial activity against multidrug‐resistant strains. The bioactive Pseudomonadaceae strains exhibited biosynthetic clusters encoding both characterized and putative antimicrobial compounds and peptides. The findings highlight their potential for discovering novel biomolecules

Characterisation of a Novel Jumbo Lytic Aeromonas dhakensis Bacteriophage P19 and Its Endolysin
A jumbo, lytic myovirus phage P19 against multidrug‐resistant (MDR) Aeromonas dhakensis was isolated from river water. P19 demonstrated robust lytic activity, high thermal and pH stability (pH 6–10, up to 60°C), and no genes associated with lysogeny, virulence or antimicrobial resistance. ORF_358 of P19 encodes for T4‐type lysozyme.

Dysphagia in an equine referral hospital, 182 cases
Abstract Background Dysphagia describes a clinical sign of pathologies of the oral cavity, pharynx, and oesophagus that carries potentially serious consequences for horses. Given the diversity of differential diagnoses that may cause dysphagia, an understanding of the prevalence of dysphagia in hospitalised patients, the distribution of aetiologies and
