A Novel Metal Foam‐Supported Solid Oxide Fuel Cell With High Specific Power

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 19, 2 April 2026.
Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) employing metal foam supports with an ultrahigh porosity of 90% and average pore size of 100 µm are successfully fabricated. The metal foam architecture significantly enhances gas diffusion coefficients, effectively reducing concentration polarization while simultaneously decreasing areal mass.

Efficient and Robust Heterostructure CeZrOx/NiO‐Ni Inverse Catalyst for Sustainable Photothermal CO2 Methanation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 20, 9 April 2026.
A heterostructured CeZrOx/NiO‐Ni inverse catalyst is designed for highly efficient photothermal CO2 methanation under low‐intensity light without auxiliary heating. It achieves 464 mmol·gcat−1·h−1 methane space‐time yield under natural concentrated sunlight, maintains stability over light‐dark cycles and extended air storage, and is scalable to 100 g ...

The Influence of Sintering Temperature of Reactive Sintered (Ti, Mo)C-Ni Cermets

open access: yesMedžiagotyra, 2015
Titanium-molybdenum carbide nickel cermets ((Ti, Mo)C-Ni) were produced using high energy milling and reactive sintering process. Compared to conventional TiC-NiMo cermet sintering the parameters for reactive sintered cermets vary since additional ...
