Choroid Plexus Microstructural Alterations Link Glymphatic Dysfunction and White Matter Degeneration in Parkinson's Disease

This study investigates the role of choroid plexus (CP) microstructural alterations in Parkinson's disease (PD), using free‐water corrected diffusion tensor imaging (FW‐DTI). Elevated CP diffusion metrics were linked to glymphatic dysfunction, corpus callosum degeneration, and worsened motor and cognitive performance in PD patients.
