Epigenetic silencing and pharmacological inhibition of EIF5A2 foster venetoclax sensitivity in acute myeloid leukaemia

We show how the loss of activity of the translation initiation factor EIF5A2—either through gene hypermethylation or pharmacologic inhibition of its highly specific hypusine post‐translational modification—induces venetoclax sensitivity in acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) cells.

Bridging practices prior to brexucabtagene autoleucel for mantle cell lymphoma in the United Kingdom: An analysis of modality, response, toxicity and survival

Summary Bridging therapy (BT) prior to brexucabtagene autoleucel (brexu‐cel) in mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is supported by limited evidence. Here, we report BT modality and outcome in 176 patients at 15 centres in the United Kingdom. BT was delivered to 90% (158/176), the majority receiving standard chemotherapy +/− radiotherapy (53%) (SD chemo +/− RT)

Evidence for different seeding activities of misfolded tau in classical and rapidly progressive Alzheimer's disease

The study analyzed the seeding activity of misfolded tau protein in Alzheimer's disease and rapidly progressive Alzheimer's disease patients and provides evidence for the existence of different tau assemblies supported by differences in cellular toxicity and morphology of thioflavin T‐positive real‐time quaking‐induced conversion products.
