The array CGH and its clinical applications
Drug Discovery Today, 2008Array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) is a technique enabling high-resolution, genome-wide screening of segmental genomic copy number variations (CNVs). It is becoming an essential and a routine clinical diagnostic tool and is gradually replacing cytogenetic methods.

Array CGH analysis of pediatric medulloblastomas
Genes, Chromosomes and Cancer, 2005AbstractBrain tumors are the second most common childhood cancer. We used high‐resolution array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) to analyze losses and gains of genetic material from 24 medulloblastomas. The bacterial artificial chromosome clones were ordered on the array, allowing for an average resolution of approximately 420 kilobases.

The aim of this research was to conduct the comparative analysis of the karyotype of new human stem cell line 4BL at different stages of cultivation in vitro. Methods. The array CGH Oxford Gene Technology was used. Results. At the 120, 160 and 205 passages such the same aberrations were revealed: duplications of 2q31.1-q33.1, 10 q22.1-q22.2 and q24.2 ...

[Detection of chromosome changes by CGH, array-CGH and SNP array techniques in tumours].
Ceskoslovenska patologie, 2015New molecular biology methods have specified the evidence of chromosomal changes in the tumor tissue. These alterations can be proven to exist in the majority of malignant tumors. The fast progress of whole genome molecular biological methods has helped to improve the knowledge of tumor genetics.
