Charge-exchange isobaric resonances

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
Three types of the charge-exchange isobaric resonances - giant Gamow-Teller (GTR), the analog (AR) and pygmy (PR) ones are investigated using the microscopic theory of finite Fermi systems and its approximated version.

Uncertainties in Atomic Data for Modeling Astrophysical Charge Exchange Plasmas

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Relevant uncertainties of theoretical atomic data are vital to determining the accuracy of plasma diagnostics in a number of areas, including, in particular, the astrophysical study.

Antineutron Production by Charge Exchange [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review, 1957
Antineutrons produced by 440-Mev antiprotons incident upon Pb, C, and C${\mathrm{H}}_{2}$ targets have been observed. The antineutrons were detected by their energy release upon annihilation. Charge-exchange cross sections for antiprotons in the three targets have been calculated.

Collisional Classical Dynamics at the Quantum Scale

open access: yesAtoms, 2023
During the past five decades, classical dynamics have been systematically used to gain insight on collision processes between charged particles and photons with atomic and molecular targets.

Interaction of Be4+ and Ground State Hydrogen Atom—Classical Treatment of the Collision

open access: yesAtoms, 2020
The interaction between Be4+ and hydrogen atom is studied using the three-body classical trajectory Monte Carlo method (CTMC) and the quasiclassical trajectory Monte Carlo method of Kirschbaum and Wilets (QTMC-KW).

Ring current dynamics in the Earth's inner magnetosphere

open access: yes地球与行星物理论评, 2022
The terrestrial ring current, flowing near the equator at the altitude of 2 RE~7 RE, is one of the most significant electric current systems of the Earth's magnetosphere.

Isotope Effects in the Predissociation of Excited States of N2+ Produced by Photoionization of 14N2 and 15N2 at Energies Between 24.2 and 25.6 eV

open access: yesFrontiers in Chemistry, 2019
Photoelectron/photoion imaging spectrometry employing dispersed VUV radiation from the SOLEIL synchrotron has been used to study the predissociation of N2+ states located up to 1.3 eV above the ion's first dissociation limit.

Dynamical second-order noise sweetspots in resonantly driven spin qubits [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2021
Quantum dot-based quantum computation employs extensively the exchange interaction between nearby electronic spins in order to manipulate and couple different qubits.

Differential Study of Projectile Coherence Effects on Double Capture Processes in p + Ar Collisions

open access: yesAtoms, 2020
We have measured differential yields for double capture and double capture accompanied by ionization in 75 keV p + Ar collisions. Data were taken for two different transverse projectile coherence lengths.
