Development and Validation of Two Analytical Methods Using High‐Performance Liquid Chromatography and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy for the Analysis of Tunisian Marketed Pharmaceutical Product‐Based Insulin and Zinc: Application in Routine Stability Study

open access: yesBiomedical Chromatography, Volume 40, Issue 11, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Given the widespread reliance on insulin among diabetic patients, ensuring its stability is an essential task not only for preserving its therapeutic efficacy but also for safeguarding patient health and safety. In addition, insulin storage practices were frequently misunderstood that may compromise drug potency.

Body Composition Phenotypes and Their Metabolic Associations in Treatment‐Naïve Patients With Newly Diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes: A DXA‐Based Cluster Analysis

open access: yesEndocrinology, Diabetes &Metabolism, Volume 9, Issue 6, November 2026.
Using dual‐energy X‐ray absorptiometry clustering of 185 treatment‐naïve type 2 diabetes patients, we identified four body‐composition phenotypes. Central‐obesity and high‐fat–high‐muscle clusters carried the highest fatty liver disease and hyperuricemia risk, whereas the low‐muscle cluster carried the highest osteoporosis risk.

Short‐ and Long‐Term Control of Hypertension After Bariatric Surgery: A 10‐Year Prospective Study

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 11, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Current guidelines support bariatric surgery (BS) as an effective treatment mainly for patients with severe obesity and poorly controlled hypertension. However, evidence in non‐severely obese Asian populations remains limited. This multicenter prospective cohort study included 248 Chinese patients with obesity and hypertension who underwent BS

Integrated Reproductive and Cytogenetic Assessment of Infertility in a Captive Jaguar (Panthera onca)

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 6, November 2026.
Integrated reproductive and cytogenetic assessment of infertility in a captive jaguar pair identified normal chromosomal status in both individuals, whereas impaired semen quality in the male likely represents a major limiting factor for reproductive success under the observed conditions.

Testicular histopathology and its association with germ cell numbers, serum concentrations of reproductive hormones, and semen quality

open access: yesAndrology, Volume 14, Issue 8, Page 2388-2400, November 2026.
Abstract Background It is well‐established that spermatogenesis, semen quality, and reproductive hormones are interlinked. It is, however, less well‐described how various specific testicular histopathologies are linked to reproductive hormones and semen quality.

Azole‐Resistant Aspergillosis: An Emerging Diagnostic and Therapeutic Challenge in Paediatrics

open access: yesMycoses, Volume 69, Issue 11, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Invasive aspergillosis (IA) represents one of the most frequent invasive fungal infections in paediatric patients with risk factors. An increase in cases of azole‐resistant IA has been reported in adult patients. The aim of this study is to present a series of 11 cases of paediatric patients with this pathology.
