Magnetic Particle‐Based Thin‐Channel Analysis for Separation and Bioanalysis: From SPLITT Fractionation to Immunoassays

open access: yesJournal of the Chinese Chemical Society, EarlyView.
Thin‐channel magnetic analytical platforms integrate magnetically controlled transport with confined laminar flow to enable quantitative bioanalysis. By coupling field‐induced migration with outlet fractionation, particle deposition, or affinity capture, these platforms merge SPLITT separation, magnetophoresis, and magnetic immunoassays.

Is Geenius HCV Supplemental Assay an Alternative to HCV Confirmatory Western Blot INNO‐LIA HCV Score in Repeatedly Reactive Blood Donations After First Line Screening?

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, EarlyView.
Serological testing of low prevalent blood donors: serological windows and false‐reactive screening results. There is moderate agreement between rapid immunochromatography test and western blot detecting anti‐HCV antibodies in blood donor sera. Discrepancies in results of immunochromatography test and western blot detecting anti‐HCV antibodies occur in

Extraction‐dependent changes in immunoglobulin E binding profiles of processed lesser mealworm (Alphitobius diaperinus) proteins

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, EarlyView.
Abstract BACKGROUND Alphitobius diaperinus, the lesser mealworm, is an edible insect considered safe for human consumption; however, its proteins show documented cross‐reactivity with crustacean and house dust mite (HDM) allergens, raising potential concerns for allergic populations.

Diabetes‐Induced Dysregulation of Purinergic Signaling in the Bladder Mucosa: Accelerated ATP Hydrolysis and Impaired Adenosine Uptake Promote Underactive Bladder Phenotype

open access: yesNeurourology and Urodynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore molecular mechanisms underlying excessive extracellular adenosine (ADO) accumulation in the bladder lamina propria (LP) of mice with type 2 diabetes (T2D) induced by a high‐fat, high‐sucrose diet (HFHSD), conceivably leading to bladder underactivity.

Advances in Viral Markers for Predicting Functional Cure of Chronic Hepatitis B

open access: yesPortal Hypertension &Cirrhosis, EarlyView.
Functional cure, defined as sustained hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) loss, is achieved by only a minority of patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB); early identification of likely responders may improve cure rates and reduce costs. However, responses to antiviral therapy vary considerably, necessitating reliable hepatitis B virus (HBV) viral ...

The use of non-radioactive iodine as a label in immunoassays [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
The research described in this thesis has centered on the development of a nonradioactive iodine label for use in immunoassays. A protein can be iodinated with nonradioactive iodine, used in an immunoassay, and the iodine label detected by a chemical ...
