Chemiluminescence and immunoassays
Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 1994The principles of chemiluminescence and the application of chemiluminescent labels and substrates in immunoassays are reviewed. Various immunoassay formats and all known classes of chemiluminescent molecules, including 1,2-dioxetanes, luminol and derivatives, acridinium esters, oxalate esters and firefly luciferins are described as well as the many ...

Chemiluminescence-linked immunoassay
Journal of Immunological Methods, 1978Covalent complexes of a chemiluminescent compound (a luminol derivative), protein and a steroidal hapten have been used as a labelled antigen in a way analogous to the radioactive label in radioimmunoassay. The antibody-bound complex emits light when treated with hydrogen peroxide and copper acetate at high pH.

Chemiluminescence immunoassay for chloramphenicol
Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2005In recent years, various chemiluminescent clinical immunoassay kits have been widely applied to the detection of hormones. However, a kit for chloramphenicol (CAP) is often absent from most commercial product lists, even though it is important to control the levels of CAP residues in foodstuffs too.

A Homogeneous Chemiluminescent Immunoassay Method
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2013A new homogeneous chemiluminescent immunoassay method featuring the use of specific binding members separately labeled with an acridan-based chemiluminescent compound and a peroxidase is reported. Formation of an immunocomplex brings the chemiluminescent compound and the peroxidase into close proximity.

Chemiluminescent Immunoassay and Its Application
CHINESE JOURNAL OF ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY (CHINESE VERSION), 2012Abstract Chemiluminescent immunoassay (CLIA) has been applied in different fields, including environmental monitoring, clinical diagnosis, food safety and pharmaceutical analysis, as a promising approach for selective, sensitive, rapid and simple analysis. It is often necessary to detect a large number of complicated or low-abundance samples. However,

Chemiluminescence Flow-Injection Immunoassays
Critical Reviews in Analytical Chemistry, 2001The state of art in chemiluminescence flow-injection immunoassays is reviewed. Different approaches and manifolds are described. Advantages of chemiluminescence flow-injection immunoassays, which are discussed in detail, are speed, selectivity, and sensitivity.
