Complement receptor enhancement by chemotactic factors

Molecular Immunology, 1982
Abstract Chemotactic factors, of diverse origin, share the property of enhancing the expression of C3b receptors on human phagocytic cells. They also amplify complement-dependent initiation of the respiratory burst as well as accelerating complement-dependent killing of certain parasites.

Inflammatory reactions and chemotactic factors.

Annals of allergy, 1980
Inflammatory reactions are mediated by a large number of chemical substances called chemical mediators, including chemotactic factors, which are released by immunologic as well as non-immunologic mechanisms. Chemotactic factors which act indirectly on target tissue can not only enhance inflammatory reactions (NCF-C) but may also eliminate the reactions
