Activation of Kir4.1 Channels by 2‐D08 Promotes Myelin Repair in Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple sclerosis causes myelin loss and neurological dysfunction. This study shows that 2‐D08, a small molecule targeting Kir4.1 channels, promotes OPCs differentiation via FYN tyrosine kinase phosphorylation and the FYN/MYRF pathway. It significantly improves myelin repair and motor deficits in EAE mice and marmosets, highlighting its potential as a

Tornado Seasonality in Central‐Southern Chile
AbstractTornado records in Chile show an apparent seasonality with a peak between May and June. We study this seasonality in central‐south and austral Chile by analyzing three indicators of tornado environments: vorticity generation parameter (VGP), storm‐relative helicity (SRH) and mean relative humidity . Annual cycles of VGP, SRH and show favorable

Doxorubicin‐induced cardiomyopathy involves mitochondrial energy metabolism dysfunction, exacerbated by cardiomyocyte‐specific Slc25a49 deficiency via oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) suppression and glycolysis activation. The Slc25a49–glucose‐6‐phosphate (G6P)–activator protein‐1 (AP‐1) axis drives myocardial injury by upregulating Sln, disrupting ...

Abstract Children's relationship with time in preschools is an under‐researched area. Young children rarely know how to measure time using a clock, but their experiences of time may contribute to understanding children's well‐being and debates about quality in preschools.

Food selection and nutritional ecology of woodlice in Central Chile
Abstract Phenotypic flexibility in food selection and digestive efficiency in response is examined in relation to variations in food quality in a detritivorous species of Mediterranean ecosystems, the woodlouse Porcellio laevis Latreille (Isopoda: Oniscidea). It is hypothesized that diet selection should show a positive correlation between diet quality
