Abstract In the present study, four Trichoderma species were isolated and made into a biofertilizer. Following treatment with the biofertilizer for 30 days, the germination rate (↑22.5%), height (↑24.4%), fresh weight (↑41.7%), and yield (↑37.4%) of flowering Chinese cabbage increased markedly compared with those of the control.

Selenium enrichment pattern in flowering Chinese cabbage, cabbage and asparagus
2006CONCLUSIONS - Within a certain range, selenium accumulation in three studied vegetables was lineally correlated with spraying concentration. However, a too high concentration caused the reduction of vegetable output and damage in quality. - Twice spraying with lower concentration of selenium was a better option to improve selenium enrichment efficiency.

The Effect of Flower-Inducing Factors on Leaf Tipburn Formation in Chinese Cabbage
Journal of Plant Physiology, 1993Summary The effect of environmental factors known to induce bolting and flowering, on the onset of tipburn in Chinese cabbage plants was studied. Vernalization induced or markedly increased the disorder. Long days (LD) or foliar applications of GA3 following vernalization accentuated the effect of the cold treatment.
