Exotic meson decays in the environment with chiral imbalance
An emergence of Local Parity Breaking (LPB) in central heavy-ion collisions (HIC) at high energies is discussed. LPB in the fireball can be produced by a difference between the number densities of right- and left-handed chiral fermions (Chiral Imbalance)

Dynamical vector resonances from the EChL in VBS at the LHC: the WW case
In this work we study the phenomenology of the process pp → W + W − jj at the LHC, in the scenario of the resonant vector boson scattering subprocess W + W − → W + W − which we describe within the effective field theory framework of the Electroweak ...

Infrared enhancement of supersymmetry in four dimensions
We study a recently-found class of RG flows in four dimensions exhibiting enhancement of supersymmetry in the infrared, which provides a lagrangian description of several strongly-coupled N=2 SCFTs.

Hadronic interactions from effective chiral Lagrangians of quarks and gluons [PDF]
Effective chiral Lagrangians involving constituent quarks, Goldstone bosons and long-distance gluons are believed to describe the strong interactions in an intermediate energy region between the confinement scale and the chiral symmetry breaking scale ...

The chiral effective pion-nucleon Lagrangian of order p^4
We construct the minimal effective chiral pion-nucleon SU(2) Lagrangian at fourth order in the chiral expansion. The Lagrangian contains 118 in principle measurable terms.

Quark models and chiral lagrangians
Abstract We consider the description of low-energy hadronic physics in terms of quark models, and explore its connection with chiral lagrangians. The chiral lagrangians with four derivatives arising from the interactions of the Goldstone bosons with quarks are calculated.

Refining the scalar and tensor contributions in τ → πππν τ decays
In this article we analyze the contribution from intermediate spin-0 and spin-2 resonances to the τ → νπππ decay by means of a chiral invariant Lagrangian incorporating these mesons.

Four-nucleon contact interactions from holographic QCD
We calculate the low energy constants of four-nucleon interactions in an effective chiral Lagrangian in holographic QCD. We start with a D4-D8 model to obtain meson-nucleon interactions and then integrate out massive mesons to obtain the four-nucleon ...

Derivation of Electroweak Chiral Lagrangian from One Family Technicolor Model
Based on previous studies deriving the chiral Lagrangian for pseudo scalar mesons from the first principle of QCD in the path integral formalism, we derive the electroweak chiral Lagrangian and dynamically compute all its coefficients from the one family

Chiral lagrangians and WW scattering
Recently, it has been proposed that the scattering of strongly interacting longitudinal gauge bosons can be studied using chiral perturbation theory. By fitting the energy dependence of the scattering amplitudes in the energy region 0.5 TeV < √s < 1.2 TeV one is sensitive to the nature of electroweak symmetry breaking.
