Topological Quasiparticles of Light: From Spin‐Orbit Coupling to Photonic Skyrmions

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 19, Issue 24, December 17, 2025.
This review summarizes recent advances in photonic skyrmions, emphasizing the central role of spin–orbit coupling in their formation. The review discusses how spin–orbit interactions generate skyrmionic textures, examines modulation strategies for their dynamic control, and provides an overview of emerging directions and opportunities where these ...

Partition Function of Chiral Boson on 2-Torus from Floreanini-Jackiw Lagrangian [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We revisit the problem of quantizing a chiral boson on a torus. The conventional approach is to extract the partition function of a chiral boson from the path integral of a non-chiral boson. Instead we compute it directly from the chiral boson Lagrangian

The equivalence theorem for chiral lagrangians [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1994
In this work we derive the version of the Equivalence Theorem that applies when the symmetry breaking sector of the Standard Model is described by a general chiral lagrangian. The demonstration is valid for renormalized fields for any value of the gauge parameter (in $R_ $ gauges) and any parametrization of the coset space.

Magnetic Hopfions as Local Rotations of the Uniform Magnetization Background

open access: yesphysica status solidi (RRL) – Rapid Research Letters, Volume 19, Issue 12, December 2025.
The Hopf mapping of 3D coordinate space to the unit sphere m2 = 1 in the magnetization space m(r) can be parametrized by some angles. These angles are used to define a local rotation matrix to restore the hopfion magnetization configuration from the uniformly magnetized state for any Hopf indices.

On structure of effective action in four-dimensional quantum dilaton supergravity [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
A general structure of effective action in new chiral superfield model associated with $N=1$, $D=4$ supergravity is investigated. This model corresponds to finite quantum field theory and does not demand the regularization and renormalization at ...

Insights into Graphene Nanostructures, Fabrication Techniques, Mechanical, and Functional Behavior Characterization

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 5, Issue 12, December 2025.
This review comprehensively explores the structural configurations, properties, and applications of graphene variants—including monolayer, multilayer, and functionalized forms (graphene oxide, rGO, composites). It discusses fabrication techniques (mechanical exfoliation, chemical vapor deposition, epitaxy) and advanced mechanical characterization ...

Electroweak Chiral Lagrangian from Natural Topcolor-assisted Technicolor Model

open access: yes, 2008
Based on previous studies computing coefficients of the electroweak chiral Lagrangian from C.T.Hill's schematic topcolor-assisted technicolor model, we generalize the calculation to K.Lane's prototype natural topcolor-assisted technicolor model.

Lagrangians for massive Dirac chiral superfields

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2016
A variant for the superspin one-half massive superparticle in $ 4D $, $ \mathcal{N}=1 $, based on Dirac superfields, is offered. As opposed to the current known models that use spinor chiral superfields, the propagating fields of the supermultiplet are those of the lowest mass dimensions possible: scalar, Dirac and vector fields.

Unification of Conformal and Fuzzy Gravities With Internal Interactions Resulting in SO(10) and a Possible Probe Through Stochastic Gravitational Wave Background

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 9-10, October 2025.
Abstract The unification of conformal and fuzzy gravities with internal interactions is based on the facts that i) the tangent group of a curved manifold and the manifold itself do not necessarily have the same dimensions and ii) both gravitational theories considered here have been formulated in a gauge theoretic way.

Production of vector resonances at the LHC via WZ-scattering: a unitarized EChL analysis

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
In the present work we study the production of vector resonances at the LHC by means of the vector boson scattering WZ → WZ and explore the sensitivities to these resonances for the expected future LHC luminosities.
