Comment on "Chiral Corrections in Hadron Spectroscopy" [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 1999
It is shown that the principal pattern in baryon spectroscopy, which is associated with the flavor-spin dependent hyperfine interaction, is due to the spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry in QCD and thus cannot be addressed by chiral perturbation theory, which is based on the explicit chiral symmetry breaking.

Chiral and Polar Duality Design of Heteroanionic Compounds: Sr18Ge9O5S31 Based on [Sr3OGeS3]2+ and [Sr3SGeS3]2+ Groups

open access: yesAdvanced Science
Chirality and polarity are the two most important and representative symmetry‐dependent properties. For polar structures, all the twofold axes perpendicular to the principal axis of symmetry should be removed.

Solving the strong CP problem with massless grand-color quarks

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We propose a solution to the strong CP problem that specifically relies on massless quarks and has no light axion. The QCD color group SU(3) c is embedded into a larger, simple gauge group (grand-color) where one of the massless, colored fermions enjoys ...

On dynamical chiral symmetry breaking in quantum electrodynamics [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2002
The problem of dynamical chiral symmetry breaking (DCSB) in multidimensional quantum electrodynamics (QED) is considered. It is shown that for six-dimensional QED the phenomenon of DSCB exists in ladder model for any coupling.

Explicit Chiral Symmetry Breaking as a Premise of the Cross-Sections' Rise [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
We argue that if QCD yields a theory of interacting hadrons then explicit chiral symmetry breaking is a necessary condition for infinitely rising cross-sections. Otherwise cross-sections go to zero at high energies.
