Is Precision Agriculture Technology Adoption Persistently Overestimated?
ABSTRACT Precision agriculture is sometimes assumed to diffuse steadily over time, and industry planning frequently extrapolates early adoption trends forward. This study evaluates the accuracy of such expectations by comparing agricultural input dealers' forecasts of future service offerings with the actual levels of offerings that dealerships ...

Abstract Premise Given the threats of climate change, we investigated the impact of high temperatures separately and in combination with reduced soil water on leaf heat tolerance for five oaks (Fagaceae) with overlapping ranges in southern California, USA: Quercus agrifolia and Q. chrysolepis (evergreen species), Q. douglasii and Q.

Study some of Garden Cress (Lepidium sativum L.) Physiological Traits at Levels of Irrigation and Ascorbic Acid [PDF]
Drought seriously reduces the quality and quantity of agronomic and horticultural plants. In such condition, using factors to reduce these effects on plants is indispensible. To evaluate the effect of water stress and different levels of ascorbic acid on

ABSTRACT Mayonnaise, a widely consumed oil‐in‐water emulsion, is highly susceptible to lipid oxidation due to its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) and the presence of pro‐oxidant factors such as low pH and iron from egg yolk. Over the past three decades, extensive research has focused on understanding oxidation mechanisms, analytical

Investigating the effect of air pollutants in Tehran on leaf surface, proline concentration, soluble carbohydrates and photosynthetic pigments (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, total chlorophyll and carotenoids) in two Nerium oleander and acacia (Robinia pseudo acacia L.) plants. [PDF]
The effects of air pollutants in Tehran city on leaf area, proline concentration, soluble carbohydrates and photosynthetic pigments (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, total chlorophyll and carotenoids) in acacia and persimmon were the subject of this ...

ABSTRACT In this study, saponification variables were optimized using a face‐centred central composite design‐response surface methodology. The variables included reaction temperature (50°C–120°C), reaction time (30–180 min), KOH concentration (0.5–3 M) and pyrogallol concentration (0–1% w/v).

Seasonal Fluctuations of Plastochromanol‐8 and α‐Tocopherol Amounts in the Leaves of Cecropia Trees
ABSTRACT Plastochromanol‐8 (PC‐8) is a homologue of γ‐tocotrienol with a longer side chain (eight instead of three isoprene units) and therefore also a representative of the tocochromanol (vitamin E) group. PC‐8 has been determined in various plants and seeds, with Cecropia sp. leaves showing unusually high levels.

ABSTRACT This study presents the first experimental liquid–liquid equilibrium (LLE) data for quaternary systems composed of refined olive pomace oil, oleic acid, ethanol, and water at 303.15 K. These data are essential for the design and optimization of solvent‐based deacidification processes, particularly for oils with high free fatty acid (FFA ...
