In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Introduction: Conflicting data exist on sensitivity changes of the melanocortin system during diet-induced obesity. We hypothesized that melanocortin sensitivity depends on diet composition, in particular on the fat content rather than the level of ...

ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the value of constructing models based on habitat radiomics and pathomics for predicting the risk of progression in high‐grade gliomas. Methods This study conducted a retrospective analysis of preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) images and pathological sections from 72 patients diagnosed with high‐grade gliomas (52 ...

C5a receptor deficiency alters energy utilization and fat storage.
ObjectiveTo investigate the impact of whole body C5a receptor (C5aR) deficiency on energy metabolism and fat storage.DesignMale wildtype (WT) and C5aR knockout (C5aRKO) mice were fed a low fat (CHOW) or a high fat high sucrose diet-induced obesity (DIO ...

Filtrations on Chow Groups and Transcendence Degree
For a smooth complex projective variety X defined over a number field, we have filtrations on the Chow groups depending on the choice of realizations. If the realization consists of mixed Hodge structure without any additional structure, we can show that the obtained filtration coincides with the

ABSTRACT Background SOX1 antibody‐positive paraneoplastic neurological syndromes (PNS) exhibit significant population‐specific clinical heterogeneity. While Western cohorts predominantly manifest Lambert‐Eaton myasthenic syndrome (65%–80%), comprehensive clinical characterization and treatment response data in Asian populations remain critically ...

ABSTRACT Objective High‐resolution MRI enables detailed assessment of intracranial vessel wall pathology in moyamoya vasculopathy. We aimed to classify adult moyamoya vasculopathy etiologies using high‐resolution MRI and to examine subtype‐specific associations between high‐resolution MRI features and ischemic infarction.
