Tumor‐Derived Interleukin 35 Promotes Fibrosis in the Tumor Microenvironment of Pancreatic Cancer by Activating Pancreatic Stellate Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that tumor‐derived IL‐35 promotes pancreatic cancer fibrosis by indirectly activating pancreatic stellate cells through IGFBP2/IGF‐1R/PI3K‐Akt and Tsp‐1/TGF‐β pathways. IL‐35 blockade reduces stromal fibrosis, restores chemosensitivity, and synergizes with gemcitabine‐based regimens, highlighting IL‐35 as a promising therapeutic

Integrative analysis reveals synergistic regulation of Sp7 by BRD9 and Wnt/β-catenin signaling during osteogenic differentiation

open access: yesCommunications Biology
Osteoporosis is a complex skeletal disorder characterized by low bone mineral density (BMD). Compared with classical epigenetic modifications, such as DNA methylation and histone modifications, the participation of chromatin-remodeling complexes in ...

A GLUTAMATE CYSTEINE LIGASE Gene StGSH1 Regulated by StERF10 Enhanced Glutathione Accumulation and Adaptation to Low Phosphorus Stress in Potato

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The StERF10‐StGSH1 module coordinates glutathione (GSH) biosynthesis under low‐phosphorus stress. The low‐phosphate‐induced AP2/ERF transcription factor StERF10 directly activates the transcription of StGSH1 and enhances GSH accumulation. Consequently, GSH scavenges reactive oxygen species and provides sulfur for sulfolipid synthesis, facilitating the ...

The Tumor‐to‐Endothelial Transfer of FTO Promotes Vascular Remodeling and Metastasis in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated omics analysis of matched primary and liver metastatic NPC tumors reveals a unique NOTCH1+ CSC subpopulation exhibiting enhanced stemness properties and tumorigenic capacity. With in vitro and in vivo assays, exosomal transfer of tumor‐derived FTO from NOTCH1+ cells to the endothelium promotes vascular permeability and metastatic potential ...

Chromatin remodeling-driven autophagy activation induces cisplatin resistance in oral squamous cell carcinoma

open access: yesCell Death and Disease
It is still challenging to predict the efficacy of cisplatin-based therapy, particularly in relation to the activation of macroautophagy/autophagy in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). We studied the effect of selected chromatin remodeling genes on the

Stress‐Induced Activation of Prolactin‐NR4A1‐Midkine Axis Exacerbates Skin Inflammation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chronic psychological stress activates prolactin signaling to reprogram dermal fibroblasts into APCDD1+ inflammatory effectors via NR4A1, driving midkine secretion. This paracrine hub amplifies keratinocyte proliferation and immune recruitment, thus exacerbating skin inflammation.
