The Effect of Temperature on the Chromatography of Insulin on Deae-Cellulose [PDF]

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Biological Sciences, 1960
The effect of ionic strength (range 0,15-0, 3), pH (range 7-9), and temperature (range I-25°C) on the chromatographic behaviour of three samples of insulin on diethylaminoethyl (DEAE)-cellulose columns has been studied. These three factors have a similar effect, a decrease of temperature or pH and an increase in ionic strength lowering the elution ...

Chromatography of McCaslan Pole Bean Hemagglutinin on DEAE-Cellulose

open access: yesExperimental Biology and Medicine, 1959
SummaryA crude preparation of McCaslan Pole Bean phytohemagglutinin has been fractionated chromatographically on DEAE-cellulose. Hemagglutinating activity, followed by testing each fraction with an rbc panel, was found in 3 groups of fractions. In each of these groups the activity was panagglutinating and gave the same titers with each rbc used in ...

Chromatography of Acidic Polysaccharides on Deae-Cellulose [PDF]

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Biological Sciences, 1962
The chromatography of polysaccharides on resinous ion-exchangers has been reported by Steiner, Neukom, and Deuel (1958). Neukom et al. (1960) later reported the chromatography of a variety of wheat and sugar-beet polysaccharides on DEAEcellulose. Only "neutral" polysaccharides could be eluted at pH 6-8 by increasing buffer and salt concentrations; acid

Purification of Rennet by DEAE-Cellulose Chromatography

open access: yesJournal of the agricultural chemical society of Japan, 1966
