The gene CREB1 encoding the cyclic AMP response element DNA binding protein was previously assigned to human 2q32.3-q34. In this study, a panel of 207 backcross mice made between C57BL/10ScSn (=B10) females and (B10 x B10.L-Lsh)F1 males were used to map Creb-1 with respect to Cryg and Lsh/Vil on mouse chromosome 1.
