Cimetidine transport in isolated luminal membrane vesicles from rabbit kidney

open access: yes, 1987
Experiments were conducted to study the transport of the histamine H2-receptor antagonist, cimetidine, in luminal membrane vesicles prepared from rabbit renal cortex. Cimetidine accumulated in the vesicles with time.

Thermoanalytical studies of cimetidine and complexes with Mn(II) Co(II) and Ni(II)

open access: yesSemina: Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas, 2014
Cimetidine is an important hydrogen histamine receptor and can coordinate metal ions in blood plasma. The stability of cimetidine and its complexes with Mn(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) was evaluated by studies of thermogravimetry (TG) and differential thermal ...

Impact of Diet and Drugs on Fecal Lachnoclostridium Gene Marker (m3) in Non‐Invasive Diagnosis of Colorectal Neoplasia

open access: yesJournal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Volume 41, Issue 4, Page 1213-1222, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Background A novel bacterial gene marker, Lachnoclostridium (m3), has potential for non‐invasive diagnosis of colorectal cancer (CRC) and adenoma. Aim This study aims to determine the diagnostic performance of m3 in a multi‐center cohort and to examine the effect of diet and drugs on fecal m3 in subjects with colorectal neoplasia. Methods In a

Synthesis of Sulfur Enriched Cyclohexenes via the Tungsten‐Promoted Dearomatization of a Phenyl Sulfone

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 9, 2 March 2026.
A method for synthesizing sulfur‐substituted cyclohexenes is reportedthat leverages the η2‐coordination of a phenyl sulfone to [WTp(NO)(PMe3)] (Tp = trispyrazolylborate). Three sequential protonation and nucleophilic additions to the bound arene, followed by oxidative decomplexation, affords functionalized cyclohexenes bearing sp3‐ and sulfur‐enriched ...

Experimental acute tubulointerstitial disease caused by cimetidine

open access: yes, 1993
Cimetidine is a histamine H2-receptor antagonist that is among the most widely prescribed drugs in the world. In addition to its inhibitory action on gastric acid secretion, a possible role in kidney tubulointerstitial disease has been suggested ...

Cimetidine transport in rabbit renal cortical brush-border membrane vesicles

open access: yes, 1987
Cimetidine is an organic cation and commonly prescribed drug that is eliminated primarily by proximal renal tubular secretion. The present studies evaluated cimetidine transport in rabbit renal cortical brush-border membrane vesicles (BBMV).

Cimetidine (H2 histamine antagonist), Fexofenadine (H1 histamine antagonist), and Zinc sulphate in the treatment of erythropoietic protoporphyria

open access: yesPhotodiagnosis and Photodynamic Therapy
Background: Erythropoietic protoporphyria (EPP) patients are deficient in the ferrochelatase enzyme which converts protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) into heme, causing PpIX to accumulate in mature erythrocytes and skin.
