Chemical constituents from Cimicifuga foetida
Journal of Asian Natural Products Research, 2005From the rhizoma of Cimicifuga foetida L. (Ranunculaceae) a new chromone, 6'-hydroxylangelicain (18), has been isolated together with 20 known compounds. The structure of 18 has been elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical evidence.

Archives of Pharmacal Research, 2009
Two new cyclolanostane diglycosides, cimifoetiside A (1) and cimifoetiside B (2), were isolated from an 80% ethanolic extract of the aerial part of Cimicifuga foetida L. (Ranuculaceae). Using spectral data and chemical analysis, the structures of 1 and 2 were identified as (23R, 24S) cimicigenol 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1''-->3')-beta-D ...

New cycloartane triterpenes from the roots of Cimicifuga foetida
Phytochemistry Letters, 2021Abstract Four new cimiacerol-type triterpenoids (1-4), together with three unreported tetranor-cycloartane derivatives (5–7), were isolated from the roots of Cimicifuga foetida. Their structures were elucidated via analysis of spectroscopic and chemical reaction data.

An unusual cycloartane triterpenoid from Cimicifuga foetida
Phytochemistry, 1996A new cycloartane triterpenoid glycoside has been isolated from the rhizomes of Cimicifuge foetida L. The spectroscopic characteristics of the new compound are different from previously described cycloartane triterpenoids because of the loss of the 24-isopropyl group as well as the presence of a 11 beta-OH group.

Cycloartane Triterpenoids and Their Glycosides from the Rhizomes of Cimicifuga foetida
Journal of Natural Products, 2014A phytochemical study on the rhizomes of Cimicifuga foetida resulted in the isolation of two new cycloartane triterpenoids (1 and 2), eight new cycloartane glycosides (3-10), and six known cycloartane glycoside analogues (11-16). The structures of 1-10 were determined by application of spectroscopic methods, with the absolute configuration of 1 ...
