First order devices, hybrid memristors, and the frontiers of nonlinear circuit theory [PDF]
Several devices exhibiting memory effects have shown up in nonlinear circuit theory in recent years. Among others, these circuit elements include Chua's memristors, as well as memcapacitors and meminductors.

We present an open-source application for mobile devices called VASIR that provides a reliable and sensitive tool for accessible intelligibility rating using visual analog scales. VASIR is validated by examining the intelligibility in 23 Parkinson’

While speech disorder represents an early and prominent clinical feature of atypical parkinsonian syndromes such as multiple system atrophy (MSA) and progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), little is known about the sensitivity of speech assessment as a ...

Circuit complexity in interacting QFTs and RG flows
We consider circuit complexity in certain interacting scalar quantum field theories, mainly focusing on the $\phi^4$ theory. We work out the circuit complexity for evolving from a nearly Gaussian unentangled reference state to the entangled ground state ...

Critical Design Considerations on Continuous Frequency Modulation Localization Systems
Real-time locating systems (RTLSs) suffer from clock synchronization inaccuracy among their distributed reference nodes. Conventional systems require periodic time synchronization and typically necessitate a two-way ranging (TWR) clock synchronization ...

Electro-hydrodynamics of binary electrolytes driven by modulated surface potentials [PDF]
We study the electro-hydrodynamics of the Debye screening layer that arises in an aqueous binary solution near a planar insulating wall when applying a spatially modulated AC-voltage.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...
