Discrete, Circulation-Preserving, and Stable Simplicial Fluids [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Visual quality, low computational cost, and numerical stability are foremost goals in computer animation. An important ingredient in achieving these goals is the conservation of fundamental motion invariants.

Circulation and Control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
The nineteenth century witnessed a series of revolutions in the production and circulation of images. From lithographs and engraved reproductions of paintings to daguerreotypes, stereoscopic views, and mass-produced sculptures, works of visual art became

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Numerical Investigation on Electromagnetic Scattering Characteristics of Circulation Control Wing Surface

open access: yesAerospace
In order to study the effect of the circulation control technology on the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the wing, a variety of low-scattering carrier models were designed based on the characteristics of the circulation control wing and ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Lethal effects and mechanism of infrared radiation on Sitophilus zeamais and Tribolium castaneum in rough rice

open access: yesJulius-Kühn-Archiv, 2018
The objective of this study was to investigate the characteristics of adult Sitophilus zeamais and Tribolium castaneum, and the 21.1% dry base (d.b.) MC of rough rice by ATR-FTIR spectra, and determine the theoretical optimum infrared (IR) heating ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Heavy metal adsorption onto graphene oxide, amino group on magnetic nanoadsorbents and application for detection of Pb(II) by strip sensor

open access: yesFood and Agricultural Immunology, 2018
Paper-based lateral flow immunoassays (LFIAs) are an interesting on site technique for detecting heavy metals. Pb(II) is one of the toxic heavy metals in polluted environmental water.

Plant protein nanogel–based patchy Janus particles with tunable anisotropy for perishable food preservation

open access: yesFood Frontiers, 2023
Janus particles with anisotropic surfaces possess considerable potential for biological functionalization. However, little is known about the effect of surface anisotropy of Janus particles on the shelf life of perishable food.
