The in vitro propagation system of Citrus × latifolia (Yu. Tanaka) Yu. Tanaka (Rutaceae) affects the growth and depletion of nutriments

In Vitro Cellular and Developmental Biology - Plant, 2019
Among citrus fruits, Citrus × latifolia (Yu. Tanaka) Yu. Tanaka stands out given its diverse uses, and there is a great demand for plants of high phytosanitary and genetic quality. In the present study, the in vitro micropropagation process of C. latifolia was studied in RITA®-type bioreactor, semisolid medium, and partial immersion with liquid culture

Coumarins, psoralens, and quantitative 1H-NMR spectroscopy for authentication of lemon (Citrus limon  [L.]  Burm.f.) and Persian lime (Citrus × latifolia [Yu.Tanaka] Tanaka) juices

Food Chemistry, 2021
Mutual adulterations of lemon and lime juices may be detected using coumarins and psoralens as markers. Poor manufacturing practices or legal but mechanically intense processing of lemons were recently suspected to lead to false accusations of deliberate adulterations with lime juices due to potentially unspecific markers.
