Circuit to aid tuning of Class-E amplifier
2000 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest (Cat. No.00CH37017), 2002The problem of tuning a high-Q Class-E amplifier is addressed. It can not be tuned for maximum output power without degrading efficiency. A novel modification is made to the design so that it can be tuned for maximum output power while maintaining maximum efficiency. Simulation data is shown. Measured data is provided at low frequencies.

A microstrip version of class-E microwave amplifier
2005The paper is devoted to design and experimental investigation of a microwave class-E amplifier built in MESFET, type CLY5, and intended for operation at frequency 820 MHz. The simulation results show a good agreement with the experiment.
