Multiphysics‐Driven Assembly of Biomimetic Vesicles
Artificial extracellular vesicles, derived from cell membranes, are manufactured using a multiphysics‐integrated microfluidic platform that combines nanoknife membrane rupture, herringbone chaotic mixing, and acoustothermal modulation. This standardizable workflow enables the predictable control of vesicle formation and therapeutic loading, while ...

New tools for “hot-wiring” clathrin-mediated endocytosis with temporal and spatial precision
Clathrin-mediated endocytosis (CME) is the major route of receptor internalization at the plasma membrane. Analysis of constitutive CME is difficult because the initiation of endocytic events is unpredictable.

Nanoscale Mapping of the Subcellular Glycosylation Landscape
Using multiplexed super‐resolution imaging with fluorophore‐labeled lectins, this study reports intracellular glycosylation at the nanoscale across organelles and synaptic specializations. Extending glycan analysis beyond the cell surface, Glyco‐STORM reveals distinct glycosylation nanodomains in the ER, Golgi, lysosomes, and synaptic sites.

Specific Rab GTPase-activating proteins define the Shiga toxin and epidermal growth factor uptake pathways [PDF]
Rab family guanosine triphosphatases (GTPases) together with their regulators define specific pathways of membrane traffic within eukaryotic cells. In this study, we have investigated which Rab GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs) can interfere with the ...

Clathrin Heavy Chain Knockdown Impacts CXCR4 Signaling and Post-translational Modification
Recent research has implicated endocytic pathways as important regulators of receptor signaling. However, the role of endocytosis in regulating chemokine CXC receptor 4 (CXCR4) signaling remains largely unknown.

Fibronectin rescues estrogen receptor α from lysosomal degradation in breast cancer cells [PDF]
Estrogen receptor α (ERα) is expressed in tissues as diverse as brains and mammary glands. In breast cancer, ERα is a key regulator of tumor progression.

A post‐stroke perivascular niche of microglia characterized by low expression of M2 markers and elevated glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS), and phagocytic activity is identified, which is termed stroke‐activated vascular‐associated microglia (stroke‐VAM).

Clathrin Adaptors Really Adapt [PDF]
The clathrin pathway is the principal route for receptor-mediated endocytosis and growth factor downregulation. Heterotetrameric clathrin adaptors directly link the clathrin coat with cargo transmembrane proteins that are sorted into coated pits and vesicles.
