Effect of Clathrin Light Chains on the Stiffness of Clathrin Lattices and Membrane Budding [PDF]
Clathrin-dependent transport processes require the polymerization of clathrin triskelia into polygonal scaffolds. Together with adapter proteins, clathrin collects cargo and induces membrane bud formation.

This study presents a surfaceome‐reprogramming strategy for mutation‐independent lung cancer therapy by repurposing dexamethasone to prime mesenchymal stem cell‐derived nanovesicles. The engineered vesicles leverage multi‐valent interactions mediated by upregulated adhesion proteins, EPHA2, and NOTCH3.

Antagonistic regulation controls clathrin-mediated endocytosis: AP2 adaptor facilitation vs restraint from clathrin light chains [PDF]
Orchestration of a complex network of protein interactions drives clathrin-mediated endocytosis (CME). A central role for the AP2 adaptor complex beyond cargo recognition and clathrin recruitment has emerged in recent years.

We introduced genetically encodable, receptor‐independent nanobody‐CPP chimeras, termed endobodies, as robust and modular membrane protein degraders. Additionally, proteasome‐targeting domain (PTD)‐tethered endobody demonstrates further enhanced degradation potency.

IKKα regulation of canonical NF-κB activation downstream of Nod1-mediated peptidoglycan recognition : "and" Endocytosis-independent function of clathrin heavy chain in the control of basal NF-κB activation [PDF]
NF-κB is a transcription factor involved in the regulation of inflammation and innate immunity. The IκB kinase (IKK) complex contains two catalytic subunits, IKKα and IKKβ, and plays an essential role in the activation of NF-κB through the ...

This study introduces a biomimetic “nanofusion” platform that integrates the biostability of threose nucleic acids (TNA) with homotypic cell‐membrane cloaking to combat drug‐resistant TNBC. By leveraging a non‐canonical membrane‐fusion pathway for direct cytosolic delivery, the platform bypasses endosomal sequestration. To achieve potent AKT2 silencing

Integrating Lateral Super-Resolution and Axial Progression Reveals Distinct Clathrin Pit Formation Pathways. [PDF]
Variable‐angle total internal reflection fluorescence structured illumination microscopy (vaTIRF‐SIM) links nanoscale lateral organization with axial progression during clathrin‐mediated endocytosis. Super‐resolved TIRF‐SIM images resolve the lateral architecture of AP2‐labeled clathrin coats, while corresponding Z‐index maps report relative axial ...

Clathrin Adaptors Really Adapt [PDF]
The clathrin pathway is the principal route for receptor-mediated endocytosis and growth factor downregulation. Heterotetrameric clathrin adaptors directly link the clathrin coat with cargo transmembrane proteins that are sorted into coated pits and ...

This study identifies RNA‐binding protein RBM25 as a broad‐spectrum antiviral factor acting independently of type I interferon. It blocks viral entry by suppressing GTPase Rab22a via the RC3H1‐mediated destabilization of Rab22a mRNA. Viral downregulation of RBM25 enhances GTPase Rab22a expression and viral entry, revealing an unreported post ...

Molecular Signatures Underlying Synaptic Vesicle Cargo Retrieval
Efficient retrieval of the synaptic vesicle (SV) membrane from the presynaptic plasma membrane, a process called endocytosis, is crucial for the fidelity of neurotransmission, particularly during sustained neural activity.
