Yield Improvement and Cost of Test Reduction Via Automated Socket Cleaning

2020 China Semiconductor Technology International Conference (CSTIC), 2020
Accurate testing of advanced devices using sockets is the primary method of assuring that the final assembled devices meet performance and reliability specifications. During any device test operation, contact is made with the device in a socket and, consequently, contamination from the package accumulates into the socket and onto the contactor surfaces.

Double actinometry for rigorous evaluation of quantum yields of clean photoreversible photochemical reactions

Photochemical & Photobiological Sciences, 2002
We point out that the simultaneous use of two actinometers can be useful in photochemical quantum yield determinations and illustrate this by describing a simple, general, and mathematically rigorous procedure for the determination of quantum yields of a clean photoreversible photochemical reaction of the type A + hv --> B, B + hv --> A. This is useful

Accounting for clean, fast and high yielding reactions under microwave conditions

Green Chemistry, 2010
Thermal reactions proceed optimally when they are rapidly heated to the highest tolerable temperature, held there for the shortest possible time and then quenched. This is explained through assessments of reaction kinetics in literature examples and models.

Snow cleaning of substrates increases yield of large-area organic photovoltaics

Applied Physics Letters, 2012
We demonstrate large-area organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs) based on boron-subphthalocyanine chloride (SubPc)/C60 and 2,4-bis[4-(N,N-diphenylamino)-2,6 dihydroxyphenyl]squaraine/C60 heterojunctions on substrates “snow-cleaned” with a jet of mixed-phase CO2.

Reversible Aptamer Staining, Sorting, and Cleaning of Cells (Clean FACS) with Antidote Oligonucleotide or Nuclease Yields Fully Responsive Cells

Nucleic Acid Therapeutics
The ability to reverse the binding of aptamers to their target proteins has received considerable attention for developing controllable therapeutic agents. Recently, use of aptamers as reversible cell-sorting ligands has also sparked interest. Antibodies are currently utilized for isolating cells expressing a particular cell surface receptor.

A Novel Cleaning Method for Yield Data Collected by Sensors: A Case Study on Winter Cereals

2020
Winter cereals yield tracking is a common practice since decision support systems can greatly benefit from the integration of these data. However, scientific literature highlights that many systematic errors occur during yield data collection. An efficient and easy to automatize protocol to clean collected field data is still missing despite its ...

‘Just in Time’ Cleaning Improves the Yields in Fine Line Circuit Manufacture

Circuit World, 1990
The purpose of this paper is to identify the major parameters which affect the chances of contamination occurring, and then to evaluate conventional cleaning techniques with respect to these factors. The paper will next describe a new approach to contamination control which minimises the risk of contamination in a cost‐effective manner.

Yield Enhancement due to Addition of Bevel Cleans at Middle of Line(MOL) Zone

Solid State Phenomena, 2018
As the technology nodes become smaller and smaller the circuit dies get closer and closer to the edge of the wafer. Defects and issues on the bevel are seen to cause issues such as flaking and blocked plating on the dies at the edge of the wafer. This drastically increases the need for a clean wafer edge as the issues directly translate to yield loss ...

Oxygen Atom Transfer to a Half-Sandwich Iridium Complex: Clean Oxidation Yielding a Molecular Product

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2014
The oxidation of [Ir(Cp*)(phpy)(NCAr(F))][B(Ar(F))4] (1; Cp* = η(5)-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl, phpy = 2-phenylene-κC(1')-pyridine-κN, NCAr(F) = 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzonitrile, B(Ar(F))4 = tetrakis[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]borate) with the oxygen atom transfer (OAT) reagent 2-tert-butylsulfonyliodosobenzene (sPhIO) yielded a single ...
