A characterization of the kernel of a closed set [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1975

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

I**g-CLOSED SETS

open access: yesJournal of New Theory, 2016
− In this paper, we introduce the notion of I ∗ ∗g -closed sets and prove that this class of sets is stronger than the class of gs∗ I -closed sets as well as the class of Ig-closed sets. Characterizations and properties of I ∗ ∗g -closed sets and I ∗ ∗g -

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Closed-loop process identification under PI control: a time domain approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Closed-loop identification plays an important role in improving existing underperforming closed-loop controllers, also enabling the identification of systems that, either by technical or economical reasons, cannot operate in open-loop fashion.

On generalized b*-Closed Sets In Topological Spaces

open access: yesIbn Al-Haitham Journal for Pure and Applied Sciences, 2017
In this paper, we introduce and study the concept of a new class of generalized closed set which is called generalized b*-closed set in topological spaces ( briefly .g b*-closed) we study also.

EXTENSIONS GENERATED BY CLOSED SETS

open access: yesTamkang Journal of Mathematics, 1993
From the nonempty collection of all closed sets $(Y)$ of any topological space $(X , \tau)$, Schmidt generates a topological space $(Y,\mathcal{U})$. In this paper, we give some properties of this topological space. We determined when $(f,(Y,\mathcal{U}))$ is an extension of $(X , \tau)$.

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Adjoints of Closed Convex Processes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
[[abstract]]There is a wide variety of motivation applications to force people to study the theory of the set-valued analysis and it is fortunate that set- valued analysis has been successfully applied to control theory, mathe- matical economics, game ...

Dominating Set in Weakly Closed Graphs is Fixed Parameter Tractable [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
In the Dominating Set problem the input is a graph G and an integer k, the task is to determine whether there exists a vertex set S of size at most k so that every vertex not in S has at least one neighbor in S.
