Journal of Communication Disorders, 1980An auditorily presented cloze procedure was used as a test of auditory comprehension and expression of language in learning disabled (LD) and regular classroom adolescents. Three sentence types of increasing linguistic complexity and five standard grammatical operations were employed in constructing the stimulus paragraph.
