DRIVE‐SAFE: Data‐Driven Robustness and Informed Validation for Evolving Specifications via Formal Evaluation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
DRIVE‐SAFE evaluates learning‐based, black‐box autonomous driving policies against evolving temporal safety requirements using Signal Temporal Logic robustness metrics. It aggregates distributional robustness measures with domain‐informed weights to guide iterative retraining.

CHFNet: Curvature Half-Level Fusion Network for Single-Frame Infrared Small Target Detection

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
Single-frame infrared small target detection (IRSTD) aims to extract targets from background clutter and distinguish them from noise. In recent years, semantic segmentation deep learning methods such as CNNs have made many breakthroughs in the field of ...

Combinatorics of symbolic Rees algebras of edge ideals of clutters

open access: yes, 2009
Let C be a clutter and let I be its edge ideal. We present a combinatorial description of the minimal generators of the symbolic Rees algebra Rs(I) of I. It is shown that the minimal generators of Rs(I) are in one to one correspondence with the irreducible parallelizations of C.

Random sampling as a clutter reduction technique to facilitate interactive visualisation of large datasets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Within our physical world lies a digital world populated with an ever increasing number of sizeable data collections. Exploring these large datasets for patterns or trends is a difficult and complex task, especially when users do not always know what ...

Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard): An Aerial Robotic Swarm for Autonomous Detection and Entrapment of Rogue Multirotors

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard) is introduced as a four‐drone swarm that autonomously detects, tracks, and safely captures rogue drones using a coordinated net system. Computer vision and leader–follower control architecture enable synchronized enclosure, while integrated failsafes enhance system reliability. Validated through closed‐environment

StreamEB: Stream Edge Bundling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Graph streams have been studied extensively, such as for data mining, while fairly limitedly for visualizations. Recently, edge bundling promises to reduce visual clutter in large graph visualizations, though mainly focusing on static graphs.

3D Large‐Scale Subwavelength‐Resolution Sound Sheet Tomography Based on an Active and Programmable Circular Meta‐Array

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A programmable 2048‐element circular ultrasound array combined with a compact acoustic lens produces a thin “sound sheet” over a large field of view, and records echoes with wide angular diversity across the ring aperture. Coherence‐enhanced beamforming converts full‐matrix data into high‐contrast tomographic slices, delivering near‐diffraction‐limited

Two Types of Distributed CFAR Detection Based on Weighting Functions in Fusion Center for Weibull Clutter

open access: yesJournal of Engineering, 2013
Two types of distributed constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detection using binary and fuzzy weighting functions in fusion center are developed. In the two types of distributed detectors, it was assumed that the clutter parameters at the local sensors are ...

Janus‐Type Electrostatic Potential Gradient‐Activated Dynamic Zn2+‐Coordinating Nitrogen Sites in Molecularly Locked Nanocellulose Separators for Stable Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional benzimidazole‐terminated CNF separator is constructed via a PEI‐mediated covalent locking strategy, generating dense zincophilic sites that accelerate Zn2+ transport and desolvation while enabling uniform Zn (002) deposition and suppressing side reactions.
