Does a Morphotropic Phase Boundary Exist in ZrxHf1‐xO2‐Based Thin Films?
This study investigates 6 nm zirconium‐rich hafnium‐zirconium oxide thin–film metal–insulator–metal capacitors using a combination of experimental methods and machine learning–based molecular dynamics simulations to provide insight into the physical mechanisms that enhance the dielectric constant near 0 V and attribute it to the field‐induced ...

Broadband, Flexible, Skin‐Compatible Carbon Dots/Graphene Photodetectors for Wearable Applications
Broadband, flexible photodetectors integrating nitrogen‐rich carbon dots with single‐layer graphene on plastic substrates are demonstrated. A biocompatible chitosan–glycerol electrolyte enables efficient low‐voltage gating and on‐skin operation. The devices exhibit ultraviolet‐to‐near‐infrared response, mechanical robustness under bending, and verified

PDSOI and Radiation Effects: An Overview [PDF]
Bulk silicon substrates are a common characteristic of nearly all commercial, Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS), integrated circuits. These devices operate well on Earth, but are not so well received in the space environment.

Scalable Thermal Engineering via Femtosecond Laser‐Direct‐Written Phononic Nanostructures
This study demonstrates that femtosecond laser‐induced periodic surface structures (fs‐LIPSS) can function as phononic metasurfaces, reducing thermal conductivity below the plain thin‐film limit. Phonon Monte Carlo analysis reveals that the periodic structures restrict phonon mean free paths.
