SiSMA—A Tool for Efficient Analysis of Analog CMOS Integrated Circuits Affected by Device Mismatch
IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, 2004In this paper a simulator for the statistical analysis of analog CMOS integrated circuits affected by technological tolerance effects, including device mismatch, is presented. The tool, able to perform dc, ac, and transient analyses, is based on a rigorous formulation of circuit equations starting from the modified nodal analysis and including random ...

A simple noise modeling based testing of CMOS analog integrated circuits
SPIE Proceedings, 2005A technique for testing CMOS analog integrated circuits is presented which is based on an analysis of the noise behavior of the circuit under test (CUT). The technique is simple and new. The CUT in the present work is an integrated CMOS amplifier circuit designed in a standard 1.5 μm n-well CMOS process for operation at ±;2.5 V.

Improving symbolic analysis in CMOS analog integrated circuits
2004 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37512), 2004A symbolic method to improve the computation of simple symbolic expressions (SEs), which represent the dominant behavior of a CMOS analog IC, is presented. It is demonstrated that the complexity in manipulating ESs, being minimized by modelling the behavior of the MOSFET using nullors, at different levels of abstraction.

An Analog-Oriented Routing Tool for CMOS Analog Integrated Circuits
ESSCIRC '89: Proceedings of the 15th European Solid-State Circuits Conference, 1989The performance of analog ICs strongly depends on layout characteristics. After identifying the various categories of placement and routing constraints, this paper describes a routing strategy dedicated to take into account those specific analog features.

Electrothermal simulation of SOI CMOS analog integrated circuits
Solid-State Electronics, 2007An analytical approach, combining a heat flow device model for SOI devices and a thermal model for interconnects, is presented for electrothermal simulation of SOI analog integrated circuits. The proposed approach is able to account for large temperature gradients in device, heat exchanges between devices, heat losses from the silicon islands and ...

The Sizing Rules Method for CMOS and Bipolar Analog Integrated Circuit Synthesis
IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, 2008This paper presents the sizing rules method for basic building blocks in analog CMOS and bipolar circuit design. It consists of the development of a hierarchical library of transistor-pair groups as basic building blocks for analog CMOS and bipolar circuits, the derivation of a hierarchical generic list of constraints that must be satisfied to ...
