Electrodeposited lead dioxide coatings [PDF]

open access: yesChemical Society Reviews, 2011
Lead dioxide coatings on inert substrates such as titanium and carbon now offer new opportunities for a material known for 150 years. It is now recognised that electrodeposition allows the preparation of stable coatings with different phase structures ...

Crystallization of HfO2 thin films and their influence on laser induced damage [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2020
We present our investigation on the crystallization of IBS HfO2 on (0001) SiO2. The crystallization was studied by in-situ XRD. The activation energy was 2.6±0.5 eV. The growth follows a two-dimensional mode.

The Use of Iron-Doped Anatase TiO2 Nanofibers for Enhanced Photocatalytic Fenton-like Reaction to Degrade Tylosin

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
The removal of antibiotics from wastewater to prevent their environmental accumulation is significant for human health and ecosystems. Herein, iron (Fe)-atom-doped anatase TiO2 nanofibers (Fe-TNs) were manufactured for the photocatalytic Fenton-like ...

Durable superhydrophobic coatings for prevention of rain attenuation of 5G/weather radomes

open access: yesNature Communications, 2023
Superhydrophobic coatings are expected to solve the rain attenuation issue of 5G radomes. However, it is very challenging to design and construct such superhydrophobic coatings with good impalement resistance, mechanical robustness, and weather ...
